Safe Operating distance with Spektrum dx7s and Ar8000

Anyone care to share there thoughts on a safe ( max ) operating range, line of sight, for a Spektrum Dx7s and Ar8000 receiver on a MR??

500m is a safe distance.

But it should under ideal conditions work out to maybe 1.5km, depending on where your were flying it though it might only be safe to fly 100 metres.
