Hi Wil. Have you got any video from your evo? if so i bet it looks amazing. sorry your not happy with your s800. I have built over 80 s800's and 16 evo's so im very familiar with both (I build everything that is purchased from Aerialmediapros.com) No your right there isnt a huge difference in old s800 and evo but there are some improvements on the evo. yes the arms flex when you pick it up by 2 arms like you did and bounce did but there alot stiffer then the old type( i have both right here come on over and ill show ya) and not sure why you can fit all the electronics in the frame iv built about 100 with no problems. these things produce some amazing video for the cost. The IMU should be mounted on the supplied mounting bracket on lower frame so it is isolated from any vibration from motors and props. Thats why the dampners are on there now. the locking tab issue..maybe you didnt have the arm up all the way and forced it and broke, Ive build about 100 of these things, x 6 arms = 600 tabs and never broke one..you got some strong fingers i guess. PARTS? you need parts? We have almost everYthing thing in stock and if we dont will have what ever were missing in about a week. we have tons of happy customers and one who has been using the s800 for 5 months on set (in jungle, alaska) for 10 hrs a day flying over and over day after day in the most extreme conditions and no problems.. that poor s800 is beat but still going..you can see there work on discovery channel and tv show Gold Rush.. I wish I could post the video but I can't. I build then then load up and go test everyone of these we sale and I have not had one I wasent happy with. I dont have a close up to show you that all the electronics fit but you can see in the pics its all in the frames..Some s800's and evo off to test fly
Just my 2 cents.. happy filming
Well said!
I don't suppose you know where I could get a set of props for the EVO? Can't find them anywhere...
