Bart the bearings I picked up locally are R2ZZ which is the shielded bearing for the rear or in the case of a sealed bearing R22RS

The front shielded bearing is R2/5-22 I was not able to find a sealed bearing for the front.

Crash I tried the heat trick and the stator didn't budge. Se today while I was out checking air conditioners I soaked the stator in a jar of Xylol Xylene and when I got home it easily came apart. Evidently the solvent softens the adhesive.

Now your just making words up!:p

You caught that didn't ya' John? ;)

I had a gallon of the stuff in the garage, I have no idea where it came from, what is was purchased for, or what it is used to make. But once I smelled the stuff I figured it was strong enough that it would probably take the enamel off yer teeth if need be.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone that's fitted these hi-spec bearings to a motor whether it resulted in a quantifiable improvement in noise/vibration.

Most of my motor bearings were having significant noise. 4 of 6 motor bearings have been replaced. The 2 remaining still sound and feel good, the BOCA replacements aren't noticeably better then the original good ones, I would hope that they would be longer lasting. I can't tell if there is any improvements in vibrations.
