Hi all,
I am a complete newbie to RC's. I recently inquired about multi-rotors after getting back from the King of the Hammers desert race near the 29 Palms Marine base in California. I seen one flying over the race track which was pretty amazing considering it was windy.

I am avid outdoors-man. My hobbies include extreme rock crawling (I have been in two issues of Crawl magazine), 4 wheeling the local trails, riding quads in the dunes, camping, traveling, experiencing different cultures and recently received my HAM Radio Technician licence.

I want to learn how to fly multi-rotors, educate myself on what works with what and what don't. I look forward to getting educated advice from fellow members. Lastly, I would like to get into doing some aerial photography with my other hobbies.

The death wobble could be a multitude of things. Typically, it is caused by worn out steering bushings and parts. Tires can be a major contributor to death wobble as well. I would give Mike a call at Shaffer's Offroad in Alameda. I think they are somewhat close to you.

Haha, I was kidding! I really do have some front end issues, but I can really use other forums for that. Thanks for the advice though!

Where do you fly yours at? Maybe we could meet up sometime. Locksmith? Are you mobile or do you work at a store front? Just curious if we had crossed paths before.
