rctimer esc's and problems

after the issues with two motors spinning differently to the others i thought i'd swap in four 40a rctimer ecs's.

spent a yonk sorting it all out.

esc's card programmed and calibrate with the tx.

tx recalibrated in the wkm app.

did a 'waggle' test by hand to check.

nightmare.

firstly when i click atti mode on from manual, two motors briefly stop before spinning up.

secondly when i waggle, motors are actually stopping and i'm not even getting the white led which indicates imu senors out of range. they usually spin up again, but more times than not they don't.

i also have an issue where some motors are not spinning up when i arm them.

i've tried different timing settings, and several recalibrations, but can't get it sorted and there's no way i'd attempt a flight with it.

so looks like rctimer esc's go on the "no good" list and i'll have to rebuild yet again with the hw esc's which were exhibiting the odd motor speed issue. bit miffed at the moment.

Try dropping your update rate to 350 Hz. I have used 32 rct esc's and had about 5 fail. They use the same processor as the turnigy plush ( hobbywing)

All I use now is turnigy plush, never had a failure

The HiModel ones seem to work ok. Same board as Turnigy plush but a different flash. Needs dedicated programmer.

I see 2 motors have problem.

I use these Esc they works great.
When you make calibration of mini/max travel with only your receiver are they working good?
