Question about Custom info on ECALC

Unless you have more data like resistance to enter into the motor data points you are not going to be able to get any results. I'd send them an email asking for full specs. The webpage seems to missing resistance, no-load current, max limit (amps or watts) and number of poles, but you could count those up manually. The sunnysky site has even less information. Funny, their website looks like a clone of the RCTigerMotor site. Plagiarism can be the best form of flattery...

If you can't find an equivalent motor listed in the left side options, you have to load custom data just to the right. If there is critical info missing on your motors, you might get stuck.... in many cases there are enough options to get close to what the real motor data is.

Hi All. I have just finished building a Y6 using these motors - http://www.himodel.com/electric/SUN...Brushless_Motor_for_Multi-rotor_Aircraft.html

Trying to get an idea about fly times / max take - off weight / ect using ecalc but having issues entering correct data as the Sunnysky motors are not databased.

Anyone that could help with this.

Y6 - Running APC 14x4.7 props, 4S 8000mah lipo.. 40a esc,

Thanks

So just plug that into eCalc manually along with the data that they already have about case length, KV, etc. and now you have your own motor data.
