Hi dd;

Have you had a chance to try T-Motors 15x5 props. I would love hear your feedback.

Meanwhile, I tested new DJI 1552 props. They are definetely not balanced. Flight performance is much better than stock props?

Yes had them on for the last 4 days and big improvement, I also tweaked the gains a bit but the props are giving more stability especially in a vertical decent..i am very happy with them..wish they were cheaper but hey..you need to be a bit more careful getting them in the back of the car for transport for sure but really happy..have not tested flight times but say they are an improvement..

Dd, I appreciate your positive and encouraging feedback. Needles to ask, but just for the sake of to be clear, you did not need to balance them as they are advertised to be 100 % balanced, correct??? Mines are also on the way from overseas. Should get them in a week, I hope.

I aggree, T-Motors props are quite pricy when you compare them with other alternatives or DJI 1552 propellers. With an 8-year flying experience, I am a true believer that investing on good quality equipment on core elements ( in which propellers are one of the most core elements in flying to me ) will help us spend less in the long run. I still do not like the idea of having ESCs under the motors as vibration is not good for them even the arms are upgraded with motor vibration dampeners. Those dampeners don't survive long if you have higher amplitude vibrations. I try my best to minimize the vibration as much as possible starting where it is first created.

IMHO, here is an eqation;

Quiter flight = less vibration = less energy lost = more effective flight in terms of performance and endurance.

Wishing safe and enjoyable flight to you all.
