Proper ESC sizing

For a perspective on my MR - AUW.... My Cinestar8 will be lift a GH3 on a 2 to 3 axis BG.
The motors will be Tiger MN4014 - 400KV.
Seems I read somewhere recently on MRF or somewhere else that oversized ESCs will reduce the system efficiency, heat up and lower my total MR flight time.
So should I swap out my 45A ESCs for 40A ESCs?

The max draw on that motor is 35 amps, if i were using those i would have 40 amp esc's for the extra headroom. I think you would be fine with 35's. I don' t think you can do much better than what you have, i don't think you will gain any by changing them.
