Prop Spacer Installation?

Hi,

Tried to search but didn't have any luck...

I have some T-motor CF props going on T-motor MN31xx motors. The 6mm*4mm spacers are tapered of course but which way does the tapered end go, towards the motor or upwards towards the plate? I can think of reasons for them to be installed either way but can someone please set me straight on this?

Thanks a lot and best regards.

Haven't used T-Motor props requiring a spacer/reducer but it sounds like the props are in the small to medium size category and use a reducer to size the pilot hole to match the motor shaft. If that's the case then the tapered end, meaning smaller end, goes towards the face of the prop. The face is normally the side that has the brand name and size printed on it.

Great, thanks! Yes, the application is as you speculated, 11X3.7 props with 6mm pilot hole on motors with 4mm shafts.

The reply is appreciated, top o' the season.
