-- Cape Productions is hiring enthusiastic RC Multirotor / Drone Pilots to capture skiing and snowboarding at one of our partnered resorts. Cape is an explosively fast growing company. In our first year of operation, we’ve quintupled the size of our team and have brought the world’s only automated drone video service for action sports to locations all over North America and as far away as New Zealand. Our accelerated expansion has created a need for a decisive, highly organized, execution-oriented operational ninja to help tie all of our company’s functions together.
In addition to being a drone pilot, you will also assist in executing daily tasks, such as customer service, equipment transportation, setup, inventory and maintenance. This is a very exciting role and will require someone who has dealt with juggling many balls in the air at once and finding a way to seamlessly execute a smooth operation.

Responsibilities:
You will work with other team members on the following:
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered to and all flights are 100% safe
- Utmost proficiency on drone operations including piloting, safety, and maintenance
- Supporting logistics requirements for each filming location including daily setup and teardown
- Effectively manage issues or conflicts that arise with customers and resort affiliates
- Work with partners at each resort and maintain a positive and trustworthy relationship
- Always maintaining an incredible customer experience for our users
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of judgment / ability to make high stakes decisions quickly (and make the right decisions); upmost discretion
- Experience with RC UAV/Multirotor Drones
- Highly proactive, strategic thinking
- Ability to anticipate and solve potential issues as and before they arise
- Strong computer skills
- Very detailed and process oriented
- Passion for:
- Outdoor sports
- Drone technology
- Familiarity with iOS
- Outdoor activity enthusiast (snowboarding/skiing, surfing, mountain biking, hiking, longboarding etc.).
- Work experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Love of filmmaking and/or photography.
- Resort Experience
