Panasonic HDC-SD9 HD video camcorder kit + extras

The Panasonic HDC-SD9 remains one of the physically smallest 1920 x 1080p25 camcorders. It is also unusual in that it was one of the last Panasonic consumer camcorders to feature 3CDD's before all manufacturers changed to the cheaper CMOS sensor.

The significant advantage that CCD's hold over CMOS sensors is that they are not so sensitive to vibration and display none of the 'rolling shutter' artifacts - no wobbly lines or jello. The HDC-SD9 follows Panasonic's professional approach by incorporating three CCD's - one for each primary colour.

The camera features a 10x optical zoom and has FULL manual exposure/focus options. Not partial ... FULL i.e. Iris, Shutter Speed, Focus can all be set individually, as well as a host of other settings. It will be supplied in its original box with ALL original accessories plus those listed below.

As for price I am looking for around €300 but please make an offer if you are interested.

This kit is in 'as new' condition and comprises the following:

1x Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder with all original accessories, manual, CD, cables, charger etc.
3x additional batteries
2x extra battery chargers
1x HOYA UVC filter
1x RedEye Wide Angle adapter in suede pouch
1x rectangular Lens Hood
3x gentLED IR actuators for remote control of Record, Zoom & Photo
1x 8GB SD card

The following video was shot with this camera from a Raptor 50 nitro heli. The two axis camera mount was vibration isolated but not stabilised and the video was shot with a single operator. Just the heli pilot - no camera separate operator. The footage was mixed with that of two Sony XDCAM's in the final video and one would never know that the aerials were shot with a consumer camcorder.

No, it wasn't replaced. I just had too many cameras sitting around doing nothing. Still have !!

Anyone want a 5D or a Sony Nex 5n .... or a Panasonic HPX171?

..... or a 1957 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins, a 2005 R1200C BMW Montauk? Hell, I've got Santa's warehouse here.

Thats strange because we found out HDC -SD9 was awful for vibration & yet the CMOS (sony 760/gopro) was far better!!!!!!!

Have you still got Nex 5n ?

Still have the whole kit. It has not been used for months. Two lenses (16mm + 18-55mm), two UV filters, 16GB SDHC, two Sony Li-Ion batteries, gentLED SHUTTER, gent LED shutterPLUS, - all as new in original box - originally cost over €1000.-, looking for realistic offer.

Also looking to sell a Canon 5D mk2 kit that includes the 24-105 kit zoom (with UV), EF 14mm f2.8L ll USM UltraWide (unused), 3x Canon Li-Ion batteries, 2x chargers, 2x Sandisk Extreme 32GB CF cards, all original boxes, manuals, CD's etc., gentLED FOCUS, gentLED shutterPLUS. Again, everything as new. Whole kit cost in excess of €4900, looking for sensible offer.
