I am currently building both an F450 and F550 Flamewheel. I will be utilizing my go pro hero 4 with a gimbal and am concerned about the vulnerability of the "naked" GoPro. We are avid boaters and spend most of our summer on our cabin cruiser so I plan to spend a lot of time over water. I be utilizing the "getterback" water recovery device in case of catastrophe but want to protect my GoPro also. Basically I am looking for an option to either utilize the original GoPro case or another waterproofing option. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would try to use the original go pro case. BTW whats the "getterback" recovery device?
Looks interesting. I ordered one as I fly over water a lot! If goes down will get wet no matter what you do and regular floats cause a lot of other issues.
