All this is new to me so been visiting the various forums and trying to learn as much as possible from everyone so I can eliminate some crashes. Ordered a WLToys V222 2 weeks ago with extra batteries and spare parts from Banggood. I received word it would be 3 different shipments. Batteries came yesterday. V222 was shipped 1 week ago so hope to get it late this week. I plan on getting practice with this before I fly the Phantom 2 I ordered last week from Atlanta Hobby. I ordered the complete package with FPV and OSD. They assemble everything and test fly it before sending it out. I figured I'd pay a little more but will have lots of support for any questions or problems.

I would certainly appreciate any helpful tips anyone might have about either of these quads. I have been reading everything I can find for the past 6 weeks.

Welcome Gary. Research, research, research, practice, practice, practice, build, fly, crash, repair, rebuild, tweak and ask questions, and repeat the process. You can mix stuff around within the process a little bit. Post freely and often. I am a newbee too. I will always be a newbee. There's always something new to learn. Jay

Welcome to the forum Gary. What's said above is absolutely correct and in terms of research, this forum is superb. No such thing as a dumb question here (but certainly some dumb answers as someone the other day put it so well). I hope you like the new addiction as that is what it will be if not now.
