Mikrokopter No receiver connection - MKTools - Please HELP!!!

Hi guys,

This is my first post so bear with me :) I am getting close to finishing building a MK Okto and am having trouble with getting a receiver signal in MKTools.

I am using a Futaba T10CHG with a R6014HS receiver and QuadroPPM12 converter. I have already linked the receiver and get a solid green light to show that has worked. However, when I connect to MKTools the Flight-Ctrl red light appears with the 'no receiver signal.'

I have attached two photos of the setup. I am pretty confident in the soldering and think the servo pins were crimped ok. If one those signal cables isn't crimped correctly, could this cause the problem?

Let me know if I should provide any more info and thanks heaps in advance everyone. I really hope someone can help me, having the classic MK hair pulling out dramas!!!!

Thanks!

Send a screen shot from the Channels tab. What do you have for the Select Receiver value? I can't offer any guidance on the PPM converter setup or how it is wired.

Thanks for replying so quickly Gary. I've attached a screenshot. I selected the Multisignal PPM as the receiver. The green LED light on the QuadroPPM board is blinking normally (short burst every second) and I even re-soldered the PPM board on the FC just to be sure...

Are you using a flight battery to power the boards or are you using the MKUSB/5v from the PC? I have found that I sometimes get errors if there is not enough power to supply the boards and receiver. For me 5v doesn't seem to be enough.
