Nice flying weather

This doesn't normally happen in New England in March...

While not uncommon for it to snow this time of year, we rarely get 20 inches of snow in a 36 hour period as we did Thursday into late Friday afternoon. This was recorded around 1:30 PM on Friday using a GoPro Hero on the front of my little 330 FPV quad, the most weatherproof multi I have. The wind was blowing in from the coast with some fairly strong gusts and the little quad was getting pushed around a lot, at one point you can see it leaning to the left trying to maintain position at altitude.

Today is bright sunshine and much warmer and the weather forecast is calling for highs near 60 on Monday, all this snow won't last long. Won't stop me from heading over to the field for some FPV flying tomorrow, going to be a bit challenging with the glare off all that snow but I can handle it. :)

Now back to prepping the quads and gear for tomorrow's outing...
