nex-5 battery question

Guys, is my camera/battery suppose to be hot? if you were getting some spare batteries, does everybody just get stock sony batteries or is there something else? Thanks

I heard reports that the knock offs like those on eBay don't work correctly. I'm not speaking from experience for my nex, but I bought one for my hx9v and the camera wouldn't read the voltage correctly and the charge wouldn't hold like it should. I literally just got a genuine nex battery used off eBay last night for $25. I'd be interested to hear if the ones listed above work well.

I have bought many knock offs and most do work. For $21 it's worth checking out. Plus it comes with 2 batteries and a charger.

one of my guys gets hero3 batteries like that. he gets 2 packs and a wall charger and there better/cheaper than one stock pack.......

Thats weird.... it's gone, ok

Also, they give the charger cause the genuine charger won't charge the other batteries. Again, experience from my hx9v, not nex. Just something to note.
