New Year's Resolutions and Plans

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
What's planned for 2014? For you? For your company?

1st build maybe?? New builds? Challenges to finally overcome?

For me, I want to shoot video like Ben Rowland (seriously!)! Mastering the manual exposure for video is my goal for this year along with offering the members of MultiRotorForums.com an even greater offering of useful services and information.

I'd also be happy to have another (4th year already!) year of safe multi-rotor operations.

Happy New Year everyone. 2014 is going to be exciting!!!!

You are not allowed to steal my resolution. As I too want to shoot video like Ben Rowland.

I also want to stop pulling my hair out tuning brushless gimbals. I look forward to having 3 operational rigs that are fully tuned and just need a little TLC.

Oh and world peace.. everyone go vegan...blah blah blah... (I’m a hippy)

Easy? You call that easy?
I hope I get to fly everyday the weather is good and get paid to do it!

And I hope I earn enough to get a Skyjib X4 (which means X8) and a Panasonic GH3.

Oh right, resolutions topic, not my present list for Santa Claus!

I also hope to have another incident free year! And improve my flying/filming skills.

And I hope my company does well :02.47-tranquillity:.

Thanks to all on this forum for getting me, and keeping me, in the air!

Happy New Year! :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

I shall try to resolve being a better father, a better husband, to give a voice to those who have none, to crush my enemies and lay waste to their empires,
typical boilerplate stuff really...

My goal will be to get to be more confident in flying fpv, then uograde from my tbs to a droidworx or carbon core frame to build my next rig.

I hope to continue this hobby safely and with the enthusiasm I began it with. I'd love to be able to give back to the community here that has helped me come as far as I have, and spread that enthusiasm to new converts. To keep gaining experience and knowledge that can continue into future builds, realizing that I can never read, research or learn enough. There's always room for improvement and growth...

So in short: a few less broken props next year!

LOL. I'm flattered.

I've worked hard, but I've also been very fortunate to work on some cool projects. I also have an incredible camera operator that I've known for a long time - Will Wheeler. Both of us have a long background in TV. Will has a great eye for good compositions.

Part of my plans for 2014 are to share more about what we've learned along the way. We taught a workshop on the creative side of aerial cinematography last fall. My plan is to put something together that makes that information accessible to anyone who is interested.

And I'm with SleepyC - I too want to stop pulling my hair out messing with the tuning on brushless gimbals.
