Hi,
After a few years watching a friend and neighbours multirotors flying over my garden I took the plunge and bought a Blade Nano.
I whirred it round the house for a couple of days chasing the wife etc and then thought it's time to get it outside. Well confidence was getting the better of me as I had this thing about roof height and had no idea which way round it was, after a couple of wrong guesses and a strong wind it took off over a roof and out of sight!
Mourning the loss of my £85 I eventually decided to start banging on the neighbours doors further down the street, it was then I realised that my new found hobby seemed quite amusing to other people ( you've lost what, a toy helicopter? is it your Grandsons?) ladders were out however and eventually we found it on a flat roof 5 doors down!
I've now progressed to a DJI 450 with Naza V2 artf kit, I'm hoping my buddy is going to build it for me at the weekend and I'll no doubt be on here with a multitude of newbie questions.
PS
There's a program called 'Harvest' on BBC 2 Wednesday night which has some outstanding Multirotor footage ( so I'm told! )
