Some interesting observations I've pulled from their material with pricing.
1. My guess is the motors are or similar to the U10's. (~$330/ea x 8 = $2640)
2. They must be running those 5s batteries in series to create 10s voltage. (TATTU 10000mAh 5s 25c Lipo Battery, ~$220/ea x 4 = $880)
3. In their pictures it looks like they are running the 28x9.2 props on top and the 26x8.5 on the bottom. This weird to me. Back when I was messing with X8's a lot the theory was to run shorter, lower pitch on top. This has me a little intrigued because I wouldn't think they would have the props on wrong for the pics. I wonder if they are running slightly higher kv on the bottom so they spin faster? (28x9.2 $371/set x2 = $742, 26x8.5 $339/set x2 = $678)
4. I bet they are using t-motor Flame 80A ESC (~$120/ea x8 = $960)
total on that is about $5900. I get R&D costs etc. but is this really rocket science price worthy?
I am most curious about coaxial prop configuration. It says it comes with 2 sets of 28x9.2 and 2 sets of 26x8.5. You can clearly see the 28x9.2 on top and from the pics the bottom blades do look a little shorter.
