Hi from London, Am slowly getting to grips with my DJI WKM and Xaircraft650. Had lots of initial issues which were gratefully resolved by Geoff at Quadcopters. Can anyone recommend voltage settings for the monitor function of the WKM, if I enable the software I get constant white flashing lights. Am confused. Am also playing around with a DJI 550 with the NAza and GPS flies like a dream.

Hey Visvid, would you recommend the f550 for someone starting out with mrc's? I'm in the process of researching getting one and torn between getting f450 and the f550, using the Naza initially. Ultimately I'm looking at getting a droidworks system in the future but need to learn the ropes first, in flying, ap and fpv.

Hi I currently have the 450 (Typing mistake) and also the Xaircraft 650. I had a lot of problems with the 650 mainly from the supplier that I had used. This has all been sorted out now thanks to Geoff at Quadcopters.co.uk. The DJI 450 is a very good piece of kit and flies a extremely well, I have it set up with the Naza and GPS and it performs very well. It took around four hours to get the thing built setup and flying, obviously with some tweaking and lots of time reading things on forums. For me the whole thing has been quite a steep learning curve but I can honestly say thats it is addictive. I had a friend visit the other day with his little boy and he was flying the DJI within 10 mins after some very basic tuition. It is also very durable so won't fall apart after a mishap. Overall I am very pleased with the DJI products although sometimes there support can be a bit slow. I am planning the purchase of the S800 and will be transferring the WKM onto this so will be selling the X650. I also have a complete FPV setup using fatsharks, not sure if you have come across a website called first person view but Simon Dale who owns this company is one of the best you could wish to deal with, he really knows his stuff and has limitless patience I have spent a small fortune with him but all his kit works and integrates with each other. I am very new to all this and Simons help and advice certainly was a great find. Geoff at Quadcopters.co.uk will from now on be my first point of call for any future Quad purchases this guy really knows what he is talking about and I have found his prices to be extremely competitive. I am in no way affiliated with any of the people I have mentioned but having spent £1700 on a model that just would not fly I learnt a very expensive mistake. As i said Geoff sorted it all out and found many problems with what I had purchased. I believe he also offers a build and set up service although I can't be 100% certain. Anyway good luck with your purchase I am now waiting for the serial number as I have just purchased the Single Waypoint Click and Go System and can't wait to give it a go. Let me know how you get on

Yeah I was planning to go with Geoff, Im not sure Ive come across First Person View, but I will have a look. Thanks for the heads up. Well, its looking like the F450 then, everyone seems to make it there starting point and to be honest I dont hear a bad word about it. Im just trying to avoid the impending argument with the Mrs regarding my 'having' to buy another 'coppy copter thing' when Ive not long bought one! ;) lol

Try 10.8v 0.00 loss First Level
And 10.5v 0.00 Second Level
You will need to tweak these figures slightly and if you want to calculate the loss thats relatively simple to do also but the figures above will come down with about 11% still in the pack .
If you want a earlier warning just raise 1st level slightly.

I will soon be making some tutorials when I get a day spare .

Hi Richard , the F450 Naza is a great quadcopter and you wont be disappointed with it .. They fly great and are extremly good fun and addictive .
F550 is also a good choice but most seem to opt for the F450 well according to my sales stats .

Hi Geoff.. Just tried the settings to no avail unfortunately within less than one minute after take off the light flashes constantly white (well it looks white but could be yellow) after around 90 seconds the red led flashes constantly and the model loses power rapidly. I can keep it airborne but need around 80% throttle. Back on the assistant software if I then turn that voltage thingy off everything works brilliantly again. Maybe I just need to learn to walk before I run lol, at lead the Model fly's as it should.
