Judging from the list of new forum members this topic is going to take-off
Been a Cameraman since 1969 when I trained to shoot hockey games in Calgary on the Large video Cameras that CBC had used in the 1968 Mexico Olympics
Then on a variety of 16mm film cameras such as the ARRI BL and Beaulieu. Have been shooting kids sporting events for the last few years and flogging the video to their parents.
I wanted to train as a Helicopter Pilot in 1967 but could not put the finances together ($15,000.00)
Flash forward nearly 1/2 a century and I still want to train to fly a chopper and I just might be able to scrape together the 650cad for a DJI Phantom and a similar amount for an RX100.
