Need some tx advice

Well I'm in the market for a new radio, want to keep with spektrum, its a toss up right now between the dx8 jr x9503 or the jr 11x but having a hard time justifying the price of the 11x. I fly all electric, getting more and more into plains and not so much into heli's anymore. I have the naza kit coming and really starting to get into multi's mostly just want to do fpv and light ap. I know 2.4ghz is not best for fpy but I'm already invested in dsm dsmx to change now. Currently I am flying with a dx6i.

Well, I'll throw my 2 cents in even if I am a newbie. I've been looking a getting Hoverthings latest quad with the Naza controller. It comes with a Spektrum receiver & I have been looking at these 2 tx's a lot as well. Without a doubt in my mind I would get the JRx9503 over the DX8 if I could afford it. Unfortunately, I don't think I can & I'll probably end up with the DX7s. I have read so many complaints about the DX8 it's not even funny. As much as I'd like another channel, it's just to risky to me. Google "DX8 problems" & you'll get a bunch of links. Could they have fixed the issues? Sure, but the last time I researched a purchase & ignored the complaints, & my gut feeling, & bought it I severely regretted it. Not again. I'd rather spend an extra few bucks. Again, just my 2 cents.

Thats my fear too with the dx8, just go to helifreak and do a search for it, lots of hours of reading about centering issues and such, horrizon says its fixed but it scares me. I guess my big concern is do I really "need" the 11x over the x9503, anyone see a need for the 11 channels for multi's? 9 is enough for my planes.

Ya the 8fg is the best bang for your buck but I'm trying to stick with spek or jr cause of receivers/bnf stuff I own
