Need help on my Naza

Hey Guys

I am trying to get my new naza up and running but I am having some problems with it....

I have made the setup as the manuel is saying, but I am getting the Yellow flashing no mater what I try.....

As I can see in the manuel it would be the TX that have lost it's signal.... ????

My radio is a new JR XG8 and I have tried out 2 brand new receivers on it now and gets the same flashing.. "Is working with servos"

Do any of you have a input that will help me..... ??????

Thanks

René

does that rx have a satelite input? you have sats installed? is it all the same technology like dsmx rx with dsmx sats?

Yes, they are binded and the failsafe is also working on the RX (Flash blue )

The rx don't have a satellite on it, it is the DMSS tx/rx with telemetry... with a external rx for that telemetry signal...

if it has a spot for a sat and you don't have it plugged in, that is your problem. You'll have to rebind after plugging it in to bind the sat as well

Hi rsun
I had similar problem with the dji wookong and my dx8 receiver with telemetry I had to go buy a receiver that did not have telemetry I bought the spektrum 7010 and as soon as I bound it the wookong m saw my tx, Gary Travis game me the solution I've never had a problem since then he told me its a problem with the telemetry board and that dji has contacted spectrum and they say that there is nothing to correct so until someone decides it's their problem we can't use the telemetry receivers yet, the good news is my telemetry module binds just fine on its own if you bind at the same time as the receiver.

Hope this helps Pm me if you want me to call and explain more....

Hmm, and I just sold my Futaba FG8 Super.. :dejection:

Will I am going to take a look on the 7010 or another Futaba TX/RX... About to build a Heavy lift so would like to have something that I know will work 100% with the DJI products.... and I am not too happy about getting another RX that isn't made for the XG8 TX....

my dx8 works flawlessly with the naza. mine bound with one or no sats plugged in and has never had an issue. i tried to use a dsm2 sat on a dsmx dx8 and i was where you were, when i got a dsmx sat even though my tx is only dsm2 it worked.

try plugging in 1 servo and power to the dx8 and see if that works. What happens when you plug in the naza to your pc and open the assistant, goto calibrate the controlls, do the bars move with input?

After those ideas, i'm out. Good luck

By the way, I don't have any TX problems in the setup when I am calibrating the sticks and switch... ???????

ok, this is easy. you need to adjust the gear endpoints on the tx to move the bottom slider on that calibration page so it sits on M and a, thats manual mode, doesn't blink to atti, blinks once or twice every few seconds. Your in fail safe or out of range on that setting. mine are around 80%

yes, spektrum dx8

sounds like it is in failsafe mode all the time !

Does the control mode switch indicate correctly in the TX Monitor screen of assistant software ?

Just checking you have adjusted the channel switch endpoints to suit

A goes blue
M goes blue when you change the switch positions ?

Should also indicate in the bottom right of the screen, what mode you are in

Take a screen shot or video of your TX Calibration screen so we can see whats going on.

Its either stuck in fail safe or the RX is not binded correctly etc..

I would agree with the thing is in Failsafe all the time or the bottom sliders are not in either Manual or Atti mode .. "They need to be lit up Blue" this is the bar at the bottom and usually needs like kloner says the end points or travel adjust reducing slightly to get them to light up on either position.

kloner and quadcopters are right -- you are probably in failsafe mode in the end positions. See the screen shots below -- you should see the A and M bars change color and the mode name show in the lower right bar.

Good luck with the adjustments!
