NAZA M V2 LED questions

Hi Guys, I am fairly new to this forum and also new to multirotor and the NAZA flight control system. I am flying a F550 with the NAZA m V2. I noticed that upon startup I would get 3 blink green LEDs. And that is a indication that I got a good GPS lock of more than 6 satellites. However upon takeoff, after few seconds I would start to get 3 blinking red LEDs and then goes into CONTINUOUS blinking red. However, when I land it, the LEDs goes back to 3 greens.

Is this sign of less than 5 satellites or a low voltage indication. Upon checking voltage remaining on my battery it is still 15.7 and my 1st level protection is 15.0
(I do wonder as well as my battery spec is 14.8V 4S 10000 mah but my battery meter and Naza software shows 16 volts, got it from local seller here in HK

I really don't think its battery as I was just flying for less than 5 minutes.

Am I doing something wrong with my setup or is it just that really unstable in picking up signals.

Any tips and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Heavy Lifter
It's probably the battery. Measuring the voltage on the ground is meaningless. All batteries have some "voltage sag" under load so it's likely that once your copter is running it's dragging down the battery. That's a very heavy battery, too. Does your copter have enough power to fly with a 10000 mAh battery?

yes 10,000 is quite heavy but my F550 could still take off and lift it. at one point i was doing like 12-14 minutes flight time. i also have no issues climbing. max height i climb was about 1500 feet

see this pic, (apologies for the annoying DJI landing skid, haven't replaced this with the AeroXCraft landing skid yet)

You might want to check if your pack is balanced. A bad cell can cause voltage drop without warning. I usually balance my packs every time I charge them and keep monitoring their health throughout the life cycle. I hope your issue gets better.

thanks for the advise. i managed to get my issues sorted. i carelessly set my battery level warning at a higher rating than it is supposed to be :)
