Naza M - Lite won't respond to stick unless giving it power

I have always had problems with this FC (no GPS). It is very slow to self level, goes like a bat out of hell backwards if I just hover, and now I have a most unique problem. It does not repond to elevator or aileron unless I am giving it power. An analogy is you take your foot off the accelerator in your car, and you can't turn. As soon as you accelerate you can turn again. This is my second lite, wondering if I got two lemons or this one in particular just went bad. Hate to buy another, but I am totally ignorant of the other types of FC that require programming / soldering to the board. Honestly I'd rather not go through the learning curve to set up a KK, or similar type of FC.

Right off hand, I have no clue as to what you are experiencing, but I do have 6 Naza Lites flying, and have never had a problem with any of them. They, like all others, are subject to vibration. Without the GPS, you have no compass calibration, just all the usual's, unit centered, wires hooked up to the right places, etc. etc.

What transmitter are you using? Got some weird mixes programmed in? Flying in HELI mode maybe?

try calibrating your ESCs i had simular problems with Naza M Lite and doing this solved problem.

I have DJI ESCs, so I can't calibrate.
i am using a Airtronics radio, no mixes, DR or Expo. Yes, I fly in heli mode, but have been doing it for the last two years. Most important detail I left out, this thing worked last time I flew it, last week. I have not changed anything. Also won't hover, wants to either go up or come down.

I had an old V1 naza on it, and it flew great. Just can't seem to get a Lite to work for me.

I reloaded the firmware, and it is flying as it did before. Still having self leveling issue, but I can live with that.
