navigation lights

Just curious because I see a lot of lighting inconsistencies with different builds - I use Red-left / green-right to be similar to full-size aircraft standards - but I see a lot of red lights out front? I know what's most important is what works for you as a pilot, but shouldn't the multi rotor community be striving for certain standards? Does the FAA have specific nav light requirements for multi's yet?

I use Braincube led lighting. It has solved my orientation insecurities. Red-left Green -right Rear - White strobe
Front bright white continuous. Can see in bright sunlight.

I did the same but with DeLights from Dimension Engineering. 2 per side (8 total) and programmed to strobe alternately such that the load is constant.

I'm think that late or early must be required because it's an standard in the air and in the water.
