Oh brother. I sincerely hope this is just clueless people being stupid. I guess the alternative scenario would be bad guys doing a dry run before doing something really aweful. In any case, it's just more negative news for us.

We don't know what type they were, just what was represented by the media. OTH, the Russians have been prolific with using Phantoms in their assault in the Ukraine so this does not bode well when viewed as security issues. The good and the bad is that anyone can obtain and fly them. The good and the bad is there are zero qualifications for those that obtain them. How to deal with that is a question I have no answers for.

No I haven't. AFAICT it hasn't been mentioned in the Spanish press here. Interesting, because we've got "Moros" all over the place here.
