MultiRotorForums.com vs Vendor Forums

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi gang,

It seems that every other day I come across another vendor that has set up a forum for their products. In some cases you might get help or find out something that we're late reporting on but you might also be told when you're reporting problems that it's something you've caused or something that only you are experiencing because when the vendors control the conversations it's not always you that they look out for.

At MultiRotorForums.com you are welcome to discuss all vendors and all products and all manufacturers freely as that is the only way we will continue to see real problems resolved with real solutions. If you've got a problem with something specific please feel free to post your issues and please feel free to name names. There are manufacturers that will be scared away by this policy and there will be those that will stand up to the scrutiny, welcome the constructive criticism, and strive to make the best products possible. Those are the manufacturers that we truly want to see getting our business and doing well in our community.

All we ask is that our conversations remain civil and constructive so that the end result can be positive.

Thanks for being awesome for over four years now!

Bart,
Thank you. That policy of being open and honest to have the ability to candidly discuss user issues specific to a product is one of the things that make Multirotor Forms the best place to be.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
I have to agree with you @Old Man; :)

in the last year we've seen the community of multi-rotor helicopter users explode in both numbers and where users are hanging out....vendor forums have their place in the big scheme of things but I've always thought that a central location like this would allow everyone to find like minded people while also seeing what others were trying. to a large degree it's been a recipe that works but as we see so many venues trying to be very specific my job remains to remind people why multirotorforums.com was formed in the first place.

from the beginning i've been very open to suggestions from the membership so if anyone feels like things could be tweaked to be better or different somehow please feel free to contact me.

Hi @Bartman, I was just wondering, how many members did MRF have in Jan 13, Jan 14 and Jan 15- just curious as MRF is probably one of the best barometers to see the growth of MRs. If you would rather not say then I clearly understand. As always, top work by you and the team and a huge thanks from us all.
