Hi guys,
I´ve seen a few threads here but can t get a good figure.
I´m trying to calculate max Mass and MTOM for a Mikrokopter Oktokopter.
All electronics MK,BL 2.0, motors MK3638, props 13x65 carbon, 2x 5000 4s, 20-30c batts
Its on a Droidworx AD8 and its actual total weight 6.5kg,

those motors are rebranded Tiger 2814-770kv I think, if so I'd use about 1.5 to 1.75 lbs per motor as a maximum with the BL 2.0 motor controllers. On a really hot day it will struggle a bit if you go at or above about 1.75 lbs per motor

my Okto was about 14 lbs with those components and when the temps went over about 93 deg. F it would brown out and I'd lose control

Sounds like it, my rig is now 6.5 kg but I`m not going to fly it, too heavy with the 550D and a 2.8/14 lense..
Its a bugger! Back to 730CX so it will be 6kg, I won't push it more.
Need a new rig all together I think.
Let me ask you a question if you don t mind Bart: Do you recon that the AD8 frame will hold if a take 4 booms out,make the other booms left a little shorter, get some standart ESC, Abuse Mark etc,up to 6s and some 400kv motors and turn it in to a Okto Coax for lets say 20lb MTOM?
