Mikrokopter MKTool screen grabs and Netbook - help?

Bit the bullet and bought a netbook to run MKtool, Arducopter Mission Planner etc.

I'm a mac man through-n-through, have been for 25 years, but running MKTool and Mission Planner through Parallels has been an effing slow and tortuous process.

On the upside the cheap and cheerful dual core netbook i found runs both apps much, much more quickly and it's small enough to carry around without too much hassle.

THE PROBLEM
Being a mac man i know nowt about windows, specifically windows 7 starter.

I'm hoping to have the MK Y6 flying today, but would like to have some feedback on my settings from you Y6 chaps, before the first flight.

To do this i need to post some screen grabs, but no idea how to do them.

There's a PRNT SCRN button on the netbook, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Make the window you want to dump active, then hold Alt Gr key and PrintScreen keys down together. This will copy the window to the clipboard. Open 'Paint' program and click Ctrl & V together to paste the dump into it. You can then save the file.

Or if you are like the rest of us poor photographers hit the PrtScn button then open photoshop & select NEW FILE it will automatically open a new file the same size as you screen capture. Then hit the PASTE button & away you go.

Ross is also correct but ...
Alt Gr + Print Screen will print only the active window
Print Screen will print the whole screen's worth
