Mikrokopter Mikrokopter firmware 0.88m available with new MKtool 1.78b

just noticed that MK released a new firmware dated May, 2012. Haven't looked at the details but it's there if anyone's interested.

has anyone else had issues with BL's since upgrading to .88e? i can't seem to keep a full Okto power board operating for any length of time and was wondering if anyone else is having the same issues. maybe i got a bad batch of Bl's?

Thanks for the heads up.

I only have a Quad XL but it has been absolutely bullet proof since the last firmware upgrade. No issues with BL's, all running at 30-40c. Must have had 20+ flights now with no problems.(typed while holding some wood

I think 0.88m is a update for the Hott v4, 0.88e is for Hott v3.

I've been running my CS8 on the latest, probably about 2 weeks after it came out. I think there have been two versions of .88. I am on the latest .88m and haven't had any problems. .88e was for Hott V3. .88m is for Hott V4. Upgrade straight forward (screen shots of existing config or lots of notes since you need to reload any custom settings). Also upgrade the MX20. Lots of new voice commands (engine start, calibrating, etc) and now my SmartBox works displaying the new MK screen. That just scratches the surface. See the videos posted by the CS guys. Not only the upgrades but also a video on the new gimbal settings. FYI the CH feature has been changed. Good idea to read the Wiki page to understand the change.

I have an octocopter and I installed the 88m directly from 86
I can say that it's rock solid also with base settings, I made several flight sessions and never had a problem
I have FC 2.1 and BL 2.0 with MK3538
