Micro/Mini FC vs Full Size FC

I'm piecing a 450 together and am not sure what route to go with the FC. The unit in question is the Micro HKPilot Mega vs HKPilot Mega.

They are basically the same components, one just squeezed into a tighter package. Will it make a difference on a 450 for video duty using a GoPro on a 3-axis gimbal?

I don't know these two products specifically, but if you are confident that the components used on both boards are the same, there should be no difference, other than real estate.

That said, I did choose a mini version of the multiwii board for a smaller craft, and although I had successfully installed and programmed a full-size multiwii from the same manufacturer, the mini never flew quite right. Might not be appropriate for your choice here, but that was my experience.

If you have the space, I might suggest going with the full size board.
