Looking into getting into this hobby

Hi all I'm from the UK and have been looking at these multi rotors for about a month now. I've got no experience in rc flying but hope I can pick this up if I do it properly.
I've been looking at a dji f450 with naza and GPS. I'm not looking to do this in a week either as I don't want to go cheap on the radio, looking at a dx8 with ar8000 so I can use the naza GPS to its full capability.
Any other suggestions to help me out would be much appreciated, also want to know if I'm diving in to deep as I have no experience with rc flying?
Thanks for you help

consider a futaba radio. it makes use of sbus so one wire goes form your receiver to naza instead of 8 and if you ever go long range uhf your dialed in with the right radio. Futaba uses ch3 for throttle and that's common in things like products from DJI, mikrocopter, etc. it's kinda a big deal and not to mention, the futaba stuff is really really nice. It's a superior link

I fly the futaba 8j and love it..... had downgraded from a JR 11x and couldn't be happier

Oh right that's interesting I've originally been looking at the spectrum because the ar8000 receiver is included and you get a telemetry module aswell so il have to do abit more research on the futaba first
Thanks

Same here, using the same radio type. Love it... great setup and great function.
