What would produce a higher overall payload assuming all the setups use the exact same motors and componets...

Option 1) A Y6 650 mm in a coaxial setup

or

Option 2) a standard hexa with 6 arms/booms 650mm in size

or

Option 3) the same Y6 frame just 1000mm in size

or

Option 4) a standard hexa fram with 6 arms/booms in a 950mm size

Boom length won't affect lift (except by making the craft heavier) - it will affect "responsiveness", i.e. bigger equals more sluggish. In general, you should be choosing your prop size (based on lift requirement), plus a motor to suit it and then deciding how long the arms need to be to give sufficient clearance/spacing.

Or did I misunderstand your question?
