My two builds. One is on the home straight, one is just started.

"Hardy" is:

Quadframe heavy quad, CF 21.5mm arms, DJI board, 155mm legs.
4 x T-motor 3508-29's (380kv)
4 x T-motor 30A pro opto's
4 x T-motor CF 1450 props
2 x 4000mah 6S
1 x 1500mAh for Flight, LED's, pending gimbal
APM 2.5+, incl UBLOX GPS, power module, 3DR telemetry, Sonar
Spektrum DX8 rx/tx/telem
Coming shortly, once stock arrives:
Optical Flow
Alexmos gimbal + Gopro (no idea how to fit yet this btw!). T-motor GB motors. Actual model of gimbal undecided. Suggestions?
FPV (solution undecided)

Hardy is almost done! He's even been flying...and broken an arm.

"Laurel" is:
Quadframe small quad, small aluminum arms, DJI board, 50mm legs.
4 x T-motor 2116 (900kv)
4 x T-motor 30A pro opto's
4 x T-motor CF 1140 props
1 x 11000mAh 3S
APM 2.5+, incl UBLOX GPS, power module, 3DR telemetry
Spektrum DX8 rx/tx/telem

I will catalog them both, as they come together. Naturally, Hardy will be more about gimbals, LED's and FPV, where as Laurel will simply be a fun flyer for me to practical my skills, nice and simple - no fancy gadgets.

Sidenote: am I being too anal by marking each motor with it's number and rotation...? And marking all my contact details on one arm as well...?

No, I label the ESC control link cable to the EFC, too. Contact details ?? Here in the US, the contact details thing is a double edged sword. If there's some sort of "issue" attributed to the runaway aircraft, one might not want to be "contacted" as it'll probably be by an attorney. In your country, things may be different. ;-)

Yes, things are slightly different here in Switzerland.

For one, we have to have personal liability insurance which includes hobby flying, and be able to reproduce this on request, along with a form of ID. So there's no real loss for us - may as well put the numbers on! Naturally, I hope they are never needed...:tennis:
