Last Minute Questions Before Liftoff...

OK... T-minus 5 and counting... Gaui 500X completed. Spektrum DX7 with AR7000 and Woo Kong installed and operational. Completed all Woo-Kong adjustments etc via the on line screens. Took her outside and once the red LED stopped flashing she climbed into a two foot hoover. All controls (Thro, Aiel, Pitch & Roll) seem functional. Here are my questions BEFORE I flip the three way switch.

01). Can I start & fly the quad in Att mode?
02). Can I start & fly the quad in GPS mode?
03). Once in a stable hover, do we use the trim sliders on transmitter to fine tune?

Before test hover I held quad over my head and throttled up. Felt strong and steady - I flipped switch to ATT and motors slowed way down. I do not see any change in throttle value while connected to the Woo-Kong screens on line. Any explanation?
Thanks for reading this and please take a minute to pass along some advice -

1 and 2 YES, usually all start in att and fly in att. GPS is started when its needed.
3 if u need to subtrim then do it

Hope u didnt switch to failsafe. Well att mode is autohoover so the thing that it did seems logical to me. Why do u have manual mode, i usualy have failsafe instead of manual.

Good Morning Lanzar and thank you for your reply.. I have the three way switch set up that starts with the "M" Mode which I suspect is just plain Quad flying. Position two is "Atti" Mode which is autohoover and altitude hold. Position three is "GPS" Mode which I suspect locks the craft into a stable hoover with altitude lock. My failsafe is set up when I turn off the transmitter. I dont know of any other way to assign a switch that function.. Do you believe this to be incorrect or dangerous?
