I just looked up Aerosky 550 and it looks like the clone of the DJI 550. If that's the size that you want to stay around then you just need to find someone else that also offers a clone version like the aerosky. I am not aware of anyone offering a kit like that (possibly hobbyking) but you could easily do a parts breakdown so your students could buy it piecemeal and assemble it, after all that's all the kit manufacturers do is put everything in one box for you. That particular 550 hex is very common and a good choice and the parts are common enough that they should be readily available from multiple sources.
