Jr dmss rx

Hi all.... new here on this forum..

I have been flying normal helicopters for years and multi rotors for about a year. I have a dji Naza f550 which is ok, but I now have a new machine in the build

I am planning to run a naze 32 board in the heli, but my radios are either a DX7 ( I have a spare rx) or I have a J XG8 with 8ch RX.

what I cant get a conclusive answer to is if I use the XG8 rx, do I need one of those many to one cables I have seen on evilbay to give a PPM output? or can I use the rx directly?

if someone runs this setup or can give advice please...

thanks

Cliff

cliff,

does the Naze 32 board have individual channel inputs using standard servo wires?

thanks,

XG8 is the model of the transmitter, which receiver are you trying to use? I don't recall seeing any JR receivers that have PPM out but someone that is more familiar can correct me if I'm wrong.

If it is the JR PROPO RG831B 2.4Ghz 8-channels Receiver w/ RA01T then it doesn't appear to have PPM output. It does have satellites like other JR receivers so maybe the satellite can be made to provide PPM? I'm not that well versed in radio stuff so maybe someone else can help you out.

Hi

yep it appears they don't have PPM output, but I see the naze comes with a breakout cable, but can see how that 'converts' it to a PPM signal
