iOSD mk2 problem???

anyone know how to connect a 1.3ghz 800mW transmitter (purchased from getfpv.com) to the DJI iOSD mk2? I'm using the DJI ribbon cable and soldered the connections according to the wire diagram from the manual. Nothing....no video no telemetry...nothing. Wondering is the iOSD is pushing enough power to the transmitter? Or, maybe the iOSD wants to look at video channel 2? I have the transmitter wired to channel one now.
Note - I have tested all the equipment separately and it works fine separately.
Any ideas?

Have you connected the mode cable to your rx and tried to change AV channels? If that is not possible then I would try and wire to channel 2.
