iosd mk2 av2 has no flight data overlay?

it seems that av1 has the flight data on it and when i switch to av2 it shows the video fine but with no overlay? wouldn't bother me so much but watching setup vids everyone elses has the overlay on both av1 and av2. also noticed the iosd getting realy hot... is this normal?

The iOSD does get a little warm when plugged-in. Usually the airflow keeps it cool. Not sure why you're not getting overlay on both channels.

powered it up this morning to have a play, now it seems to be completly dead! it is wired exactly how dji shows in wiring. video input1 goes to camera on the gimbal and have a small fpv cam wired to the power output from iosd and the av2. everything has been fine until this morning. now i have no video at all the vtx is still transmitting and powered from the iosd but there is no overlay or video when switching from av1 to av2. and now when i plug usb into computer it wont even connect.
