iOSD Mini Voltage different than 14sg Telemetry

Why does my iosd voltage show lower then my 14sg telemetry voltage and how do I determine which is correct? Also If I am monitoring battery voltage when I fly my s800 evo I can run it down to the 19.8 - 20 voltage while in flight and then when landed it is around the 20 percent mark but when i run my s1000 I can only go to the 20.4 mark and that is almost below 20 percent of the battery. I would think voltage should always be accurate? According to the rules I should be able to fly to 19.2 until it falls out of the sky so safely around the 20 V mark or higher but when I am at 20.4 it says 13% of battery left any thoughts why it would be so different? Hope someone can help with the 2 part question thanks!

The difference in final voltage and amount of power left in the packs is down to how much load is being applied to the batteries when used, Sounds like your S800 is applying higher load than the S1000 so it creates a greater voltage drop. I use the voltage as an indicator, if 19.8-20 is good for the S800 keep it at that, with the s1000 maybe you need to land at 20.5 to keep 20% in the packs?

I presume that you are flying with the same packs or at least the same size and type for this comparison? Just use the Voltage as a guide, the only true what is to count the mAH used in flight but non of the DJI products do this.

Is there a reason the mini iosd shows a different voltage than my transmitter using telemetry? for example if my transmitter says 22 volts my iosd will show 21.6 which is always .4 volts lower so I really dont know what to go by. Also they are different batteries I run 2 X 5000 45c rated batteries on the 800 and 2 X 10000 25 C rated batteries on the 1000.

Sorry, I do not have telemetry on my transmitter, One way to check would be to use a multimeter to see which one is giving the right values.

For the difference between the S800 and S1000 you need to find your own voltage end points that give you 20% remaining, It sounds like for the S1000 you need to set this a bit higher. You can set you voltage warnings on your FC differently or use Lipo alarms at different settings to meme this easier.
