iOSD component?

i've got an odd component with my iOSD but don't know what its for as its not described in the instructions

its a circuit board labelled SAO. it looks to sit on the video input connection, between the iosd and either a camera or feed from the zenmuse.

ant thoughts on what it does whether i'll need it?

Hi plingboot,
The SAO board was introduced by DJI to combat a problem some people were having, whereby certain particular makes of camera were not displaying picture with the iOSD. The SAO board used in conjunction with these cameras and the iOSD corrects this problem.
