iOSD AV2 Not Working

OK more DJI wows!

I have installed a iODS MKII and everything works via AV1 for the GoPro so I installed a small FPV cam into AV2 but cant get at AV2 via the switch. In the instructions it says you can choose either AV1 or AV2 as default channels but I see no option to do this or am I just being a gozzy eyed B'stard!

I have proved the switch output is working fro the TX for the channel change function. I have checked all wiring and swappedFPV cam in to AV1 and it working. Its like AV2 is just not there!..

Any one know what I am doing wrong OR is this another bloody day wasted on another DJI product?

Anyone using the AV channel switching?

What a difference a single letter can make to the meaning of a whole sentence. Did you mean to write "OK, more DJI woes!"?

What downlink are you using? Have I not read that the dual-camera switching only works with the DJI video downlink?

Sorry posted in frustration! ITS NOT OK!

Anyhow don't know about it only working with DJI video down link. Says nowt in the manual. But then it says you can choose AV1/AV2 in the assistant yet I can't find it.

There surely has to be peeps on here using the iOSD channel switch..

I can put one in line before the iOSD but that just seems stupid when there is supposed to be one in the iOSD..

I remember seeing a post a year or two back from a regular around here showing his dual AV switching in action. He would be a good start. Just can't remember his name offhand. Pretty sure he is a German dude, maybe his moniker is Fred...something or other?

He was an early zenmuse adopter and used to take-off and land from a padded bin in order to enable an unobstructed 360°, before DJI retracts were available.

His MRF name is FerdinandK. I know he posted a video showing the two camera switching some time back. Give him a call.

I just did the same thing with an iOSD MK II (added FPV camera). Connected the iOSD signal port to F4 on the A2 and mapped a switch to that channel, which for reasons I don't understand is D4 in the A2 Assistant. Works fine except I've managed to introduce some noise in my second TX (ImmersionRC 600mw) that is driving me nuts. Has something to do with the Zenmuse gimbal and I finally resorted to adding a unilateral TX battery for the Immersion which got rid of it.
