All joking aside, this is some pretty amazing stuff. I dont know why it is only low def. Almost hard to tell if it is CG, other than tha plane of course.

Yeah, I think some of it is all CG though. its hard to tell since it is low def. but things like the stadium are definitely all CG, you can tell by the shadows and lines on some things. but amazing none the less.

Since the video posted by Iris is really very interesting, I did some research:

The guy who was flying the helicopter is Peter J. McKernan Jr http://www.helicopterguy.com/services/peter.htm
...look at the "credits" on his homepage....just amazing

The movie was procuced by a company called Super 78 and directed by the co-owner Brent Young. These guys are really big players in the industry, especially in 4D-development.

All high quality stuff will play back at better quality if don't select HD. The compression is what makes it jump/strobe. The data rate is just too slow unless you download the HD file. A lot of that is probably stock footage.

no. I cant stop going back to single rotors. I figure I got 2 multi's why not make the next one fly in any wind and lift that fs700? But i also remember the fear from the Trex700.
