Apologies if this has been covered before, it was a difficult search term.
When using the main battery to provide power for the camera/video downlink, it is essential that each is earthed. The video downlinks generally are but for some reason, the power through the Zenmuse gimbal to camera isn't. We have found that earthing the usb casing cleans the video completely. This can be achieved by soldering a wire to the camera usb plug metal casing and connecting it to the nearest convenient battery negative. This only applies if sharing power with the propulsion battery, a separate battery is a cure in itself.
