Z axis makes a huge difference in flight characteristics. Make sure that is accurate.

Thanks for the reply, I had a completely successful test flight yesterday after calibrating the compass; with no gimbal and batteries mounted below booms 3 & 7. Didn't even touch the gains . I'm thinking the installation of the data link required a compass calibration, its the only thing I can think of that would explain the total fix. Now hoping the putting the gimbal on won't recreate the issue
