How many channels do I need?

Yes. Very dumb question I know. Correct me if I am wrong.

I want my gryphon build to be set up for one or two man operation. This post is about my main controller. There will also be a second camera tx.

Gimbal tbd.


4 Channels to fly, 1 for course lock/home lock, 1 for gps/atti, 1 to switch my lights on or off, 1 for camera pan, 1 for camera tilt and 1 for shutter.

So that's 10 right? What am I missing?

I'm thinking about the Futaba 14sg.

As many as you can! You will need them in due course even if not today. EG you havent listed retracts. Another I found was having two fpv cameras- 1 looking forward and 1 down so there's another channel to switch between the two and so on and so forth....

I did not see a switch for return to home. I use 9 - 4 to fly, RTH 1, GPS, attti, manual, 1 course / home lock, 1 - pan, and to calibrate Naza gains 1.
