How do you make a two-man operation?

So i have the DJI S800 with zenmuse Z15.

At the moment i am a one-man-show and i can control aircraft as well as the tilt and pan of the gimbal using a futaba 8FG. But now i'd like to turn it into a two-man set up (that is preferably interchangeable. For example one day i might do a shoot using a two-man setup, but then the next day i'd be doing it solo again and i'd like there to be as little hassle as possible making the change.

Can i use two transmitters and just one receiver or do i have to buy a second receiver as well so that they are completely separate? Would that cause any problems with interference as they are both on 2.4GHz despite using FASST?
The camera operator would only need to be able to Pan, Tilt, Roll and have control of the shutter release so would a 6 channel transmitter do the job?

Many Thanks

Easy? You call that easy?
Hey mate,

Yes, a second receiver plugged into the zenmuse would do the trick. Two transmitters won't affect each other, they are designed for that and you could probably have 100 2.4GHz transmitters in close proximity and not have a problem. And 6 channels would be fine. I imagine 4 channel is the minimum.

I've flown a 2 person cinema rig and it's not that difficult to set up but is exacting when trying to shoot pro level imagery. Two Tx and Rx, good and constant communications between flight and camera operators, agree in advance on flight terminology so there's less confusion when the camera operator wants the flight operator make the aircraft do something, and lots and lots, and lots more practice. It helps immensely when both operators can see the same imagery at the same time to better relate how the imagery needs to be presented.
