Hoverfly Sport hard throttle climb=crashing

My first few tries on the sport board were very good. It was no Naza or Hoverfly Pro, but flew predictably and very smooth. Then for some reason the next day I come into work and give it a go, the thing just launched into the ceiling uncontrollably. I would instinctually back off the throttle causing it to come crashing hard down, then give it throttle to smooth it out and it would swing up to the ceiling again. it was very linear though, so the input to all the ESC's are even. I calibrated esc's 3 times. i calibrated throttle range on the assistant. My battery is charged. Brand new motors, tiger 2216/graupner 9" running a 4000 4s lipo. It's most odd how it flew perfectly and then, without changing a single thing, it acts up like this. Any ideas?

How do you calibrate the throttle range on the assistant? I'm having the same problem with a small quad I built running the HFS.
I calibrated the esc's a few times and all motors are working together, but same deal, I'll get a hover give it a little throttle and it shoots to the moon..

What ROM are you flashed to?
I'm at the latest AV flash.
