In the manual, they say mount the Flight Controller with the markings towards the front/forward.
Doesn't say anything else except keep the standoffs as short as possible. 1", but not longer than 2". Shorter is better and don't over tighten.
Doesn't say anything above whether it should be mounted dead center to the multicopter.
My question ----- "is there any advice as to mounting it forward a bit as opposed to dead center". I'm building a xy8 style and have mounted it a bit forward to leave some mounting room on backside of the 6 inch plate for future add ons.
